We are excited to announce that the experimental campaign of the GIFFT Project is currently in progress! Two innovative burner prototypes are being tested:
* One developed by PlasmaAir AG, a company specialized in plasma-assisted combustion, tailored specifically for the SCHOTT case and operating with oxygen.
* The other designed by Lithuanian Energy Institute, features a different construction and operates with air.
Our partners at Chalmers University of Technology are playing a key role, conducting in-depth combustion measurements using advanced diagnostic equipment.
This collaborative effort marks a major milestone toward more efficient and sustainable glass melting technologies. Stay tuned for updates!
