The 10th International Conference on Renewable Energy Gas Technology (REGATEC 2024) took place on May 15-16 in Lund, Sweden. During the conference, discussions were held on the potential of biomethane production to meet future demands and the development prospects of biomass gasification technologies. Approximately 180 representatives from different countries participated in this conference.
A representative from the Lithuanian Energy Institute, Raminta Skvorčinskienė, also participated in REGATEC 2024 conference and presented the concept of the GIFFT project. GIFFT focuses on developing a hybrid, biofuel-flexible heat production technology for industrial glass manufacturing. This message was delivered to the conference audience.
